Two novel species of subgenus Russula crown clade (Russulales, Basidiomycota) from China

Two novel species of Russula (Russulaceae, Russulales), R. coronaspora Y.Song sp. nov.and minor nov. belonging to subgenus crown clade, are described based onboth morphological and phylogenetic evidence. In morphology, is mainlycharacterized by its distinct spores ornamented with sparse, cylindrical isolated spines, whichresemble coronavirus, gelatinized pileipellis pileocystidia mostly septate sometimesbranched; possesses a very small basidiocarp pileus less than 2.5 cm in diameter.,small basidia, easily peeling slender terminal cells abundant SV+pileocystidia. Positions the two new both trees on ITS 5-locussequences (nLSU, mtSSU, rpb1, rpb2 tef1) confirm their taxonomic status.
